Hi, I’m Shannon Scott, a Sales Partner at New Testament Roofing. Although I’m new to the roofing industry, I’ve spent the past 3 years learning about it from the love of my life, William. After much prayer and obedience, I felt the Lord leading me to jump in feet first—and here I am!

I was born and raised in the small town of Walkertown, NC, and now call Kernersville home. William and I have five amazing kiddos, ages 2 to 9. They keep us busy and on our toes, but they are truly the joy and highlight of our lives. We also have two sweet dogs, a micro bully named Pig and a cockapoo named Dolly.

What I enjoy most about my job is meeting new people and helping them in their time of need. I’m a naturally outgoing person, and I believe my love for connecting with people and building relationships makes roofing a perfect fit for me. I value trust, loyalty, and integrity, and I bring those same values into every customer relationship.

In my free time—what little there is with five kids!—I love shopping, going to the movies, enjoying the outdoors at the park, and having date nights with William. I also enjoy decorating for all holidays and planning parties—it's one of my favorite creative outlets! A fun fact about me is that I played softball for 12 years as a catcher.

One of my favorite mottos is:
“When you are facing life’s challenges, always stay positive, for it is easier to think negatively. But a negative mind will never give you a positive life.”

And my favorite Bible verse is Psalm 73:26 (KJV):
“My flesh and my heart faileth: But God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”

Community is important to me. William and I are active with our church family at Liberty Baptist in Walkertown, NC. I also love volunteering at our kids’ school and helping with their extracurricular activities.

Working with New Testament Roofing is such a blessing. It allows me to meet new people, offer them help in their time of need, and build lasting relationships based on trust and integrity—the same core values I live by every day. I believe a simple smile can change someone’s day, so I always strive to spread joy wherever I go. After all, it takes more muscles to frown than to smile—so stay positive and keep smiling!
